My home is converted - is yours?
I got our biggest and most exciting order yet today. In addition to our monthly order of vitamins, I got everything my daughter will need to be fully converted to all-natural and healthy bath and body products. She now has fun new vitamins, toothpaste, toohbrush, flossers, shampoo / conditioner, liquid hand soap, and body wash. She can’t wait to take a shower later! I got my shampoo and conditioner as well.
Also, we now have everything we’ll need to enable us to throw out every synthetic, caustic, and expensive cleaner in the house. Laundry detergent, liquid fabric softener and dryer sheets, brightener, wrinkle relaxer, and stain prewash. Dish soap and multipurpose surface wipes. Glass cleaner, 3-in-1 cleaner / stain remover, multi-purpose and heavy duty cleaners, tub and tile cleaner, daily no-scrub shower cleaner, furniture spray, and a botanical disinfectant. All of this – kids stuff, vitamins, hair and home products and all – was less than $190.00. I would’ve paid the same or more for grocery store brands that aren’t as healthy or Earth-friendly and aren’t consentrated, so they wouldn’t last even half as long.

Hello! How's your day going?
For MONTHS now, since just after I found out I was pregnant, I’ve had this almost overwhelming desire to be in the water. But I can only get so comfortable in the bathtub and even my in-laws’ hot tub just didn’t quite cut it because I could only move around so much. But yesterday, I finally got the chance to satisfy my urge to get in a pool. Afterwards, I was just too tired to shower in the locker room, so I went home without properly washing the chlorine from my hair and skin. I’m still waiting on my recent order to get here, so I don’t have my new shampoo and conditioner yet, but when I showered later, I used our body bar on my face and skin, then purposely used no lotion or moisturizer of any kind, to see what kind of condtion my my incredibly-easily-dried-out skin would be in later. An hour later, as I was sitting and watching TV, I noticed that my legs, even after having been emerged in chlorinated water for two hours, then left for another several hours before I showered, then washed with bar soap and left unmoisturized, were still soft. And now, the next day, I’m still not dried out anywhere, even on my face, which is prone to the occasional small patch of exzema. And that’s incredible because I used to get itchy legs like you wouldn’t believe, largely due I’m sure to dry skin. I’ve had a problem with it my whole life. But the body bar didn’t aggravate it like other bar soaps always have – it actually seemed to do the opposite.
In fact, it was my itchy legs that led to my being introduced to one of our bestselling products in the first place. After Daniel had used one of our lotions on a sunburn with miraculous results, there was still a lot left in the trial size container he’d been given, so he suggested I try it on my legs. It worked better at relieving the itchiness than anything else I had tried so far. So now we use it for itch relief as well as for moiturization.
Just another one of those multiple uses I mentioned : ) Oh, and a little goes a long way – I’ve noticed that in every product I’ve tried so far.
